© 2026 Legaris. All rights reserved. This page explains what the content on legaris.co is, what you may do with it, and how to ask us for permission.
1. What this notice covers
This notice covers everything we publish on legaris.co: the written content of every page and article, the design and layout of the site, our illustrations, our photography, the screenshots of the Legaris app, our video and audio, the product data shown in demos, and the site's own code. The compilation is covered too — the way all of this is selected and arranged is itself our work, and it is protected separately from the individual parts.
- Written content: the pages, the blog articles and the help centre answers
- Design and layout: the structure, grid, navigation and type system of the site
- Illustrations and photography, including the images on the home page and in our articles
- Screenshots of the Legaris app, including those on the store listing and on this site
- Video and audio, where we publish it
- Product data shown in demos: sample records, sample documents, sample events
- The site's own code: the HTML, stylesheets, scripts and images that make these pages
- The compilation: the selection and arrangement of all of the above
2. Trade marks
The Legaris name and the Legaris logo are our trade marks. Please do not use either of them, or any mark confusingly similar to them, without our written permission — including in a product name, a domain name, an app icon, an advertisement, or anything that suggests we are connected with you. Other companies' names and logos stay the property of their owners even where they appear here.
- Legaris, the Legaris wordmark and the Legaris logo mark
- Our illustrations and icon set where they are used as brand identifiers
- The names and logos of other companies on this site stay their owners' property — SilverGuard, SteadiCore, Sanospark, Easikin, Google Play and the Apple App Store, and any product or institution named in an article
3. What you may do
We want the site to be useful, so these uses are allowed without asking. Each one assumes you keep our notice intact and do not change the meaning of what you quote.
- Read and browse the site, and share the address of any page
- Link to any page, including from your own site — link to the page rather than copying it
- Quote a short passage, with attribution to Legaris and a link back to the page you took it from
- Print or save one copy of a page for your own non-commercial reference
- Use a short extract in teaching, in a report, or in news reporting, with attribution
4. What you may not do
These uses need our written permission first. They are the ones that take our work and turn it into something of your own, or that trade on it.
- Republish substantial parts of the site, in any medium
- Use our content commercially — in a product, a paid course, a paid publication or an advertisement
- Modify our content, or build derivative works from it
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark or attribution notice
- Copy our photography or our illustrations
- Harvest the site at scale with crawlers, scrapers or bulk downloads
- Use our text, images or screenshots to train a machine-learning model without our written permission
- Imply that we endorse you, your product or your organisation, or that we are in partnership
5. Third-party material and open source
The site is built on open-source software and open-source typefaces, each governed by its own licence. Where images, logos or quotations from third parties appear here, they stay the property of their owners and are used with permission or under the terms that apply to them. Nothing in this notice overrides, narrows or replaces those licences: where a licence gives you a right this page does not mention, that licence still gives it to you.
- Open-source software used to build this site stays under its own licence
- Typefaces: Fraunces and Instrument Sans, each under the SIL Open Font License
- Third-party images, logos and quotations remain the property of their owners
- Where a licence or a permission allows more than this page does, the licence or the permission controls
6. What you send us
Messages you send through the contact form, form entries, testimonial quotes and feedback stay yours. By sending them you allow us to publish and quote them — on this site, in our app and in our marketing — and to edit them for length and clarity without changing what you meant. Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy.
- Your messages, form entries, testimonial quotes and feedback stay yours
- By sending them you allow us to publish and quote them with attribution: a first name and a city, unless you agree to more
- We may edit a quote for length and clarity, never for meaning
- Personal data we hold about you is handled under the Privacy Policy
7. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on legaris.co infringes copyright you own or control, write to legal@legaris.co with the details below. We acknowledge every report within three business days and, where the claim is clear, we remove the material or ask the rights holder to licence it. We may restore material after review if the claim does not hold, and we will tell you either way.
- The work you own, and the kind of right you hold in it
- The exact URL on legaris.co where the material appears
- Your name, your email address, and — if you are acting for someone else — your authority to act
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
- What you would like us to do: remove it, correct the credit, or licence it
8. Permission requests
Most of what people ask us for is a permission we are glad to give. Write to legal@legaris.co and tell us what you want to use, where it will appear and for how long. We reply within five business days.
- Press: a quotation, a screenshot or a logo for a news story or a review
- Licensing: an illustration, a photograph or a run of our copy for a publication or a product
- Translation: republishing a guide in another language
- Commercial reuse: training material, an internal handbook, a partner's site
- Anything not listed here — ask, and we will tell you plainly whether we can say yes
9. Governing law
This notice is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about it. If any part of this notice is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
