Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 2026

Legaris is built for families managing aging parents' affairs. Many of our users are elderly, so accessibility is not a compliance exercise — it is core to who we serve. We follow the Website Accessibility Marking Scheme (W01–W30) and the Mobile App Accessibility Marking Scheme (M01–M26).

1. Conformance target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all pages of legaris.co, with additional elderly-friendly enhancements including large tap targets, flat design, and a high-contrast mode.

2. What we do

All images have meaningful text alternatives. All functions are operable by keyboard. Headings use semantic h1–h6 markup. Colour contrast meets 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for non-text essential UI. Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content. Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion. Forms have labels, error identification, and a confirmation step for submissions.

3. Elderly-friendly mode

A built-in elderly-friendly mode increases base font size, raises contrast on secondary text, and enlarges buttons. Toggle it from the footer on any page. Your preference is remembered on this device.

4. Known limitations

We do not currently host pre-recorded video with captions. PDF documents, if added in future, will follow W18 accessible-PDF requirements. Third-party content (e.g. app store badges) inherits the accessibility of the destination.

5. Reporting issues

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website or in the Legaris mobile app, please tell us. We take every report seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days.

Email us with the page URL, the barrier you hit, and the assistive technology you use. We will reply and track it to resolution.
